What the company does

Luminovix builds small applications for a specific person with a specific problem — someone with an exam in six weeks, someone trying to eat sensibly without reading a textbook, someone who has to get through a syllabus and keeps not starting. The products are narrow by design. Each one is meant to be finished, supported, and then left alone rather than expanded until it becomes something else.

Under the Udyam registration the classified activities are computer programming (NIC 62011) and the operation of web portals (NIC 63122). Everything published under the Luminovix name falls inside those two.

How the work is actually done

The engineering standard here is unglamorous and specific: a feature is not finished when the tests pass, it is finished when the real request has hit the real endpoint in production and the resulting data has been read back and checked. That rule exists because of scars. A payment integration once passed every security check, every test and a clean build while being structurally incapable of granting anyone the thing they had paid for — the failure was silent, total, and invisible to every automated check pointed at it.

The second standard is about what the software is allowed to do to the person using it. No streaks, no badges, no leaderboards, no artificial scarcity, no interface that makes leaving feel like losing. Where a product handles anything with a safety dimension — nutrition, in DietAIcian’s case — the checks run on the server and fail closed: an answer that cannot be verified is refused rather than approximated.

Who runs it

I am Sachin Jagtap, and I hold an MBBS and am a postgraduate resident in ophthalmology. I have been writing software alongside clinical training for several years, and Luminovix is where the results of that get published.

The company started from a product rather than a plan. I sat the ICMR Basic Course in Biomedical Research exam, found the available study material either scattered or wrong, and spent the following months building the question bank I had wanted — then checked all 690 answer keys by hand, including the twenty-two where the circulated answer disagrees with standard teaching. Once that was going to be sold to real people, it needed a registered entity behind it. Luminovix is that entity.

There is no team. I write the code, I answer the support mail, and I am the person a refund request reaches. For a business this size, saying so plainly seems better than the alternative.
